Oftentimes individuals exploring the Sown Network have questions about how the church is funded and who is providing those funds.
At this time, the Sown Network is entirely self-funded. Here’s how funding in the Sown Network works:
All funding raised by the Sown Network organizational component, is received through fundraising and donations. The funds raised by the organizational component, are used exclusively to support the administrative and organizational needs of the missional component.
All funding received by the Sown Network’s missional component is through the regular tithes and offerings or gifts received from the members of the Sown Network online community. The funds received by the missional component are used exclusively to provide funding and resources for the growth and development of the new micro-church, social, and business ventures of the missional component.
What this means is that for the organizational component to exist, donations and grants must be received. Additionally, for the missional component to exist, individuals within the Sown Network must intentionally and purposefully practice tithing and offerings or gift-giving.
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions about the Sown Network funding.
