The Sown Network is a digital only expression of the church organized into two separate and distinct components that are uniquely separate and unified for the same purpose.
From the organizational component, the Sown Network is a 501(c)3 organization established as a developing church plant under the authority of The Northwest District of the Wesleyan Church and The Wesleyan Church.
From the missional component, the Sown Network is a network of mission-centric individuals from the Wesleyan tradition SOWN into the fabric of their communities through businesses, ministries, and micro-church gatherings.
The Sown Network organizational component exists to provide administrative support for the Sown Network’s missional component.
The Sown Network is led by Rev. John Howell and a core group of leaders within the Sown Network.
What do you do?
The Sown Network exists primarily as a means of equipping and training individuals to learn how to love and follow Jesus within the context of the communities and workplaces where God has intentionally and purposefully placed them.
Sown Network members hold tightly to a belief that the community of a church exists to equip and send people out into the world to make disciples who in turn, seek to go out into the world and make more disciples.
What do you believe?
The Sown Network is a Wesleyan Church plant and our theological perspective is directly inline with the core values and articles of religion of The Wesleyan Church.
Sown Network members hold tightly to the belief that the community of a church exists to equip and send people out into the world to make disciples who in turn, seek to go out into the world and make more disciples.
Where are you?
Because the Sown Network is a digital only expression of the church, we do not have a physical location. Instead, we meet and engage with each other in a variety of ways including video and voice calls, emails and texts, and a variety of other applications and virtual environments.
